Project Overview

Situated within the iconic Cricket Club of India (CCI) in Mumbai, Wet Wicket is a premium members-only bar that merges the refined character of a speakeasy with the vibrancy of a high-energy social space. The audio system, designed and integrated by AudioTechnik India™, was engineered to deliver both immersive background ambience and powerful, full-range performance for DJ-driven nights — all within a single, seamlessly controlled system.

Multiple demos were conducted by various brands during the evaluation stage, allowing the client to experience and compare different sonic signatures. After detailed assessment, the Bose Professional AMM Series was chosen for its precision, tonal uniformity, and ability to adapt dynamically to the venue’s dual-purpose requirements.

System Design and Implementation

The system architecture utilises a comprehensive Bose Professional solution, incorporating AMM Series multipurpose loudspeakers and subwoofers to ensure consistent tonal balance, sonic integrity, and dynamic performance. The AMM Series features a coaxial two-way design with a proprietary Beamwidth Matching Waveguide, ensuring uniform frequency response, controlled dispersion, and high intelligibility across the coverage area — ideal for deployment as mains, fills, or delays.The system is powered and managed through Bose Professional amplifiers and DSP, providing efficient amplification, advanced signal processing, and system protection. Each audio zone was meticulously measured, tuned, and phase-aligned to achieve coherence, ensuring seamless transitions between ambient playback and high-energy performance modes.
